What's Happening Thurs 8/5:

1. How to correct an oops.

  I had heat embossed an image onto a 4" x 4" piece of cardstock before realizing that scallop circle die I wanted to use to cut it out with is a bit larger so on one side, right side in photo below where snowman with ear muffs & bird, I had an oops, an edge that was not cut completely/correctly.

  Used scallop circle and an inner circle die on some scrap of paper which happens to be CTMH Jingle Joy paper of right size and when cut the outer piece is perfect for layering over the one side of stamped image that had the oops. See below.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Will give this card to my daughter for her birthday which is in Dec. She likes coffee. Just need to put it somewhere I'll find it. Last yr I misplaced card I had made for her and had to make another.

3. Bitten By The Bug 2

 The Great Outdoors Challenge 8/2 - 15, enter here . 

4. Applied to teach crafting at local Rec Center. Director has set up classes posted online (they have a seasonal catalog but since Fall was already published & Winter does not get published until Nov so other classes are posted online) and sign up for first 2 (Christmas/Holiday) is this weekend. There will be a class for age 13+ and adults and one for Seniors. They have nice classrooms with tables & chairs. Will be paid to do something I enjoy doing.
