Belated Bday Card Sorry I'm Running Late For Your Birthday Turtle & Desert Card

Sometimes a belated birthday card is more fun. Even though I did not forget my niece's husband's birthday the card may arrive late in the mail so figured I would make a whimsical belated birthday card (similar to a card I made last year for a different occasion). Added hearts to show our TX love for our family in FL.

HAY THERE IT'S PASTURE BIRTHDAY Card - Travel Dest Dude Ranch - Lawn Fawn HayThere

Used Dude Ranch Theme to make for a Travel Destination Belated Birthday Card. 

When daughter was younger we spent a wk at a Dude Ranch in Colorado. We were each assigned a horse that we rode every day and in the end participated in a Rodeo. We stayed in a 2 story cabin that was made for many more occupants than just us 3 but we were the only ones in that cabin which had a washer & dryer. All meals (wonderful food, not hot dogs & beans, the owner's wife was the main chef and she was awesome) were served in the dining hall except for the one day that we had Bison (first time I had had Bison and liked) burgers outside. In the photo on left myself & hubby on horses crossing the stream (this day was photo day and it was lightly raining so we had slickers on) and in the photo with hubby our cabin is in the background. In photo on right you can see me on horse at top of a hilly area that hubby photographed (do not have hubby's photo here but yes I photographed him on his horse). Selected this Lawn Fawn LF stamp/die set when I won at Dies R Us Father's Day challenge. Would like the fence die to have cut the middle white part out. I think next one I make I'll use my cutting knife. Made it interactive using LF Slider die. Hill scene is made using Simon Hills & Slopes dies. Have been practicing my coloring using markers.
