Cat Christmas Card #1 - Newtons Nook AMeowyChristmas

Made this Christmas card for daughter who has a cat to send to her friends that have cats. Did not have a stamp with sentiment I wanted so I used my Calligraphy skills to Calligraphy write the sentiment.

CAS happy holidays Slimline Card - Lawn Fawn LoveYouALatte

Used a fav Lawn Fawn stamp/die, Love You A Latte, to make this Clean & Simple CAS Slimline Christmas Card with a bit of Elegance (used shimmer pens to add sparkle) to it.

Used a punch to cut a sentiment tag to resemble a tea bag, lined up stamp at an angle using MISTI & negative cut and then stamped the sentiment on punched out sentiment tag. Attached some red/white sting using Tim Holtz stapler.

I like Tea Latte. At Starbucks I get London Fog which is an Earl Grey Tea Latte. At home I use the Keurig that has a frother that makes Latte using cream & milk.

Created this TX stamp tag to give to family members that are in TX on business. Had a nice dinner, conversation & visit with my brother & his wife from FL.

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) Dogs ATC using a die cut, embossing folder, marker & stamp. Die cut dog bone is from Mickey & Friends Disney Cricut cartridge. Embossing folder is Cuttlebug Dog. Colored dog's spots with a marker. Dog stamp is Fiskars animal crackers clear stamp.

Seward - Girdwood Alaska Train Ride Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) scrapbook layout using photos of when hubby, daughter & I went on a Royal Caribbean (RC) Alaska Land Tour after our cruise. After getting off the cruise 7/29/06 we boarded a train from Seward to Girdwood. Royal Caribbean had 2 train cars at end of the train just for RC passengers. Passenger seating are was on 2nd level. Dining on 1st level. The food was great. The landscape with flowers was bee-utiful.

Hubbard Glacier Alaska Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) scrapbook layout using photos of Hubbard Glacier 7/28/2006 from when hubby, daughter & I went on an Alaskan Royal Caribbean cruise of the Inside Passage. Our cruise ship was the only one there and so the cruise ship spent quite awhile there. Photographed while on the deck of the cruise ship. We could hear the ice breaking off & falling into the water.

CAS Owl always Love You Card

Created this one layer Clean & Simple (CAS) "Owl always Love You" Card using off-white Kraft cardstock or maybe the proper name is Buff Ivory Kraft cardstock, an embossing folder, Owl stamp, Owl sentiment, Zing Copper ink heat embossed. 

The off-white/Buff Ivory Kraft cardstock was in the americana Kraft pkg I bought at Hobby Lobby awhile ago. 

The embossing folder is Cuttlebug Grace's Frame and I liked the way it framed the card. 

Bought the Owl stamp some time ago since my daughter likes Owls. 

Won the K Andrew Owly Hoo Sentiments clear stamps awhile ago. 

Bought the Zing embossing powder quite some time ago but this is first time using the Copper embossing powder. I know it is my first time because I keep the wax paper I use in a Ziploc bag with the name of the embossing powder written with a black Sharpie on outside of Ziploc bag and I did not have a bag for the Copper and the container of embossing powder was full. 

This took a couple test trials to get the stamp and heat embossing to look the way I wanted it to. The photo does not do the heat embossing justice. Looks better in person.

I'm going to put this card in my daughter's room for when she comes home this weekend. My daughter emailed me that she received all As again this semester so she made the Dean's List both Fall & Spring semester, that she was vacuuming her apt & is heading home this Sat! Yeah!!!
