Halloween Card - MFT GhostlyGreetings

Ready for Fall & Halloween. Made this Slimline card using My Favorite Things Ghostly Greetings stamp/die.

A tip for those that want to use vellum and the stamped image smudges after stamping with black ink use clear embossing powder and heat tool and the image is crisp and non smudged.

What's Happening Thurs 8/26

Welcome to What's Happening Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant/Maker, and I want to share what's happening on Thursday.

What's Happening Thurs 8/26:

1. Made some stencils which is an easy thing to do using supply you have on hand: cardboard from cereal package.

I used CTMH dies Layered Leaves #Z3523 that are retired.

 

 

 

I used my Sizzix BIGkick & plate for detailed die cutting.

 

 

 

 

I'll show you next week what I made using the stencil.

2. Couple people have signed up to take my Christmas Greeting Card Class that I'm teaching at a local Recreation Center, Liberty Rec Center. Started prepping the card kits. Classes are in Nov. Met with Director at another Rec Center, Carpenter, and have 2 classes scheduled in Oct.

5. Bartley the cat had 1st vet well care ckup and got meds for Heart/Flea.

6. Landscaping stone work & flower bed prep finished in our front yard.

 

6. Redeemed Starbucks rewards and had Pumpkin Spice Latte 8/24 & Pumpkin Spice Frappe 8/25 at Starbucks. Daughter told me she tried the new Apple Crisp Macchiato.

Pumpkin Spice latte Card - Lawn Fawn PumpkinSpice

Made this card to go with gift, Bath & Body Works Pumpkin Spice Latte hand sanitizer holder & PS hand sanitzer, I have for my barista friend at Starbucks. PSL is available at Starbucks Tues 8/24 and I'll give the card & gift to my barista friend.

Used Lawn Fawn Pumpkin Spice stamp/die. For 3D dimension I used an embossing folder, popped up the PSL cup, used Marvy Snow marker for the whip cream texture look and added some jute/twine.
