Cool Buds Father's Day Card

Created this Father's Day card using StitchyBear BB digi, Cool Buds. Used a sketch which you can see below. Recycled some blue jean materia paper piecing a jacket for boy; I even gave the dog a blue jean collar. Distressed the edges of the square. Used Cricut cartridge Life's A Party for the glasses to complement the glasses worn by the 2 digi images. Added vellum to the glasses. Stamped Stampin' Up sentiment on blue jeans & fussy cut out with scissors. Used Crop-A-Dile to punch blue jean circles at top right. I like how the Crop-A-Dile punches fabric and wished that more punches would do that.

Garden Bunny Friend Card

Created this Friend card using Mark's Finest Papers Garden Bunny stamps.

Created the background using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Stamped the Bunny multiple times. Paper pieced the Bunny. Recycled some blue jean fabric and stamped the Bunny on the blue jean fabric. Bunny papers used are Kraft cardstock & a tan cardstock (hat). Added stickles to the carrots. Added liquid Pearls to Bunny's nose & ears. Used paint to color the Bunny's shoes. Recycled an old brown/cream button and added to Bunny's hat. Stamped Hero Arts flowers. Used Crayola pencil colors on the flowers. Added Enamel accents & stickles to the flowers. Stamped sentiment and used a toothpick for sentiment tag/sign.  Embossed a piece of yellow cardstock for the Sun using TH Rays embossing folder. Added some Easter carrot ribbon.

Big Cat Tiger Jean Pocket Card

Was asked by Debbie of Mark's Finest Papers after she saw & liked my Blue Jean Pocket Card Blue Jean Pocket Father's Day Card
creation if I would like to create a similar creation using one of their stamp sets and make a tutorial on it. I responded that I was happy to be asked & would like to do that. I chose the Big Cat stamp set and you can see my tutorial here:

When I chose the Big Cat stamp set I was thinking of the saying "don't let the cat out of the bag" and figured I would put a twist on it by using blue jean pocket to put the Tiger into.

Blue Jean Pocket Father's Day Card

Had my creative juices going when creating this Blue Jean Pocket Father's Day Card for my hubby. Used one of the Blue Jean pockets from an old pair of hubby's blue jeans (same pr that I used blue jean from for Down on the Farm Scrapbook Layout). Used button from the same pr of blue jeans. Used 3 different papers: white cardstock, Antigua core'dinations cardstock & Rivulet core'dinations cardstock.  Embossed inside pocket piece with Tools embossing folder. Sanded the embossed piece & inked with Tim Holtz Distress Ink walnut stain. Punched a 1 1/2" circle out of white cardstock. Stamped Basic Grey Father sentiment on white circle cardstock & inked the edge with Tim Holtz Distress Ink walnut stain. Used 2 grosgrain pieces of ribbon to pull the inside piece out of pocket.
