Patriotic Home of the Brave Mt Rushmore Card

Created this Patriotic Card using subscribed Cricut cartridge Simple Holiday Cards Home of the Brave. Card is an A2       4 1/4" x 5 1/2" size card with Kraft brown cardstock for the base and cardstocks: gray & white for the layers. Heat embossed a mix of red/white/blue embossing powder for the Tim Holtz USA. Spritzed the card with Perfect Pearls Mist heirloom gold.

Hubby & I enjoyed a visit to Mt. Rushmore yrs ago. We stayed in a cabin that was not far from Mt. Rushmore.

Travel Mt Rushmore Card

Wanted to use a travel spot that I had visited and could make a card to resemble. I know hubby (he had facial hair back then) & I (I had longer hair then) traveled to Mt. Rushmore over 21 years ago (this was before daughter was born) and you can see us in the photo next to the card.
