Halloween Pumpkin Tag #2

Used Martha Stewart stamp/ink set bought in Seattle, WA.
Used Paper Piecing technique. Used VersaMark with Stamp N Plus chalk Crimson on the hat. Used colors: black, green, orange, purple, red, yellow. Stamped studio g sentiment. Added ribbon.

Halloween Pumpkin Tag #1

Returned from a mini vacation to Seattle, Washington. Hubby was there on business working nights. We played tourist during the days. Saw the Fremont Troll, a cement statue/figure Troll, under a bridge. Enjoyed the Woodland Zoo which is now my fav Zoo because of the wonderful natural habitats. We saw no cages and only wonderful natural habitat settings for the animals. They had Jaguar cubs & Lion cubs. Enjoyed the Seattle Aquarium. They have a wonderful display of critters. Enjoyed sampling the foods at Pike's Market Place. Hubby & shared tasty mac & cheese at Beeker's. At Russian place, Pirosky, we shared a pirosky, similar to a Polish pierogi that is made of pasta filled with potato & cheese, made of bread dough filled with potato cheese. Also, shared a Pumpkin cinnamon roll. At another place we shared some Clam Chowder. Enjoyed the Chihuly Glass exhibit near the Space Needle. Was too foggy & overcast so we did not go up to top of Space Needle which we have been to top of before over 21 years ago. We also did not go on the ferry due to the fog. Went to Moormoor Park where there were wonderful Autumn colors. Went to Kerry Park which is a n overlook area of the Space Needle & downtown Seattle. Went to the Locks. Saw a large boat go thru the Locks and then also saw 5 boats go thru. Locks is 15 ft long and it was interesting how they fit the boats in. One worker there told us that the most # of boats was 20 and 3 Kayaks that they fit in the Locks.

Hubby took me to a Ben Franklin store. Bought some Lawn Fawn stamps on clearance & some Kraft cardstock.

Last day we were in Seattle we ate at a wonderful Italian restaurant, Piati's. Then we walked the outdoor mall there. Found a rubber stamp store, Impress Stamps. Bought the Martha Stewart pumpkin stamp/ink set that I used in the Tag.
