Created this 12" x 12" layout using the Paper Studio Palm Trees scrapbook paper, photos from vacation in Maui Hawaii and green & yellow cardstock for matting of photos & Pineapple.

Used Sizzix die cut for Pineapple. Journaling done by hand calligraphy on the Pineapple die cut.

Footprints on Maui Hawaii Beach Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) scrapbook layout with Footprints theme in mind. 

Used photos of my daughter from an enjoyable Spring Break vacation to Maui Hawaii 3/27/08. Used tan cardstock as 12" x 12" base and added water paper which I printed cropped from one of my water photos & sky scrapbook paper.
Lined up the beach/water edge & sky edge of the 2 photos with the beach/water paper & sky scrapbook paper. Cut the footprints using foam material & a Sizzix die cut. Used the footprints as my journaling tag and hand wrote the date 'Monday 3/17/08' on the footprints.

Flamingos on Vacation Summer Card

Created this Vacation Card using Mark's Finest Papers Flamingos on Vacation stamp set I had won.

This week our tutorial is from Pat Garvin and it is on Masked Center. Click on the name of the tutorial and it will bring you to that page.

Couple times I tried the Masking Technique I did not like the way it looked but I'm glad I persisted and kept at it. Added some ribbon & buttons for embellishing.

Photographed the card with our pool in the background. You can bet I had tape on the back of the card to keep it on the easel so no chance of wind would blow it into the pool. Temps here in Central TX have been 90+ and will soon be 100+ so we spend alot of time in our pool.

Did you know that a Flamingo gets its color from the food it eats?
