Autumn Tree Train Bday Card

Created this Autumn Birthday card challenging myself to create a Tree & Train Autumn scene and use chalk. First time for using more than 2 colors of chalk. I used 6 colors of chalk.

The scene has Trees in the background, fences in front of the Trees & a Train in the foreground. Chalk used is from Stamp N Plus. My fav color in this is Blitzy that gives the Trees an Autumn sparkle look (not easily seen in this photo). Stamps are from Mark's Finest Papers, Stampabilities & Docerela Creations. Used Tim Holtz Paper Distresser. Used Kraft americana cardstock as base of card. Punched a scallop for the sentiment tag. Stamped "Happy Birthday" sentiment on the tag. Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink black soot on the edges of the scallop to give it a train puff of smoke look. Added some birthday/celebrate ribbon.

marker: Sharpie Fine Slate Grey

punch: Fiskars scallop punch
ribbon: Offray Microspool (I like/hoard these small spools of ribbon; have even been known to use a 50% off coupon on these)

Autumn Card Simple Salutations Ch11 Autumn/Fall

Created this Autumn Card for Mark's Finest Papers (MFP) Simple Salutations Challenge#11 Autumn/Fall.

Used Kraft cardstock as base. On Tim Holtz spiced marmalade cardstock I stamped Trees using MFP Scenic Selections and Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Embossed the TH spiced marmalade with the Paper Studio Leaves embossing folder. Distressed the edges with TH paper distresser & TH Distress Inks. Used Spellbinder for sentiment tag. Stamped sentiment with MFP Welcome Poppies "I miss YOU" and Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Used TH Distress Ink on sentiment tag. Added pattern paper from the Paper Studio. Added some golden yellow raffia.
