Used WeR Gift Bag Board to make the Large bag (paper cut at 7 1/2" x 12"). Scored per the directions on the board. Found that the directions on the piece of paper that came with the board are not easy to follow and the directions on the board itself are easier to follow. Put bag together using red tape which I found holds up better than ATG adhesive or any other adhesive when it comes to putting the gift bags together. Not that this may be important to others but I add the adhesive and start by assembling with the bottom 2 small flaps, peeling off the red tape as I go, then the bottom rectangle shaped flap and last I peel off the adhesive on the side.
Was searching for a Santa belt & buckle on Cricut cartridges but did not find until I thought of Teddy Bear Parade. Used Cricut cartridge Teddy Bear Parade for the Santa belt & buckle. Had to experiment with the size of the belt since the items on this cartridge are sized for the Teddy Bear images and using actual size did not seem to work. Used ATG adhesive to attach the buckle to the belt and to attach the belt with buckle to the bag.
Added glitter snowflake buttons and red/white twine. Could not thread the button holes so made the twine bows and attached to the buttons using glue dots. Attached the buttons to the bag using Stampin' Up foam dimensionals.
Used BugABoo digi, Santa Presents. Colored the digi with Crayola pencil colors & on computer.
Used Tim Holtz die for tag.
Stamped Scrappy Moms 'Daughter' stamp on tag. Stamped My Craft Spot sentiment 'Naughty or Nice' on tag.
Added ribbon to tag using Tim Holtz stapler & red tape adhesive.
Added tissue paper to bag. Not just any tissue paper; mind you. Appropriately added Santa hat tissue paper. There will definitely be a gift inside for my Daughter who is on Santa's Nice List.
