Garden Fantasy Fairy Birthday Card

Created this Birthday Card using a Floppy Latte/Stitchy Bear digi, Garden Fantasy. Printed the digi on bright colored (my Sunshine color) cardstock. I like the way the Spellbinder Nest Fleur De Lis Rectangles die gives wonderful look to the digi.

Added stickles to the wings.

Oriental Beauty Happy Birthday Card

Created this Happy Birthday Card using a digi, Oriental Beauty, from Stitchy Bear (SBDS), sketch from Mark's Finest Papers (MFP) Sketch with A Twist, embossing folders, Spellbinders, Japanese writing of sentiment (Happy Birthday - casual style) & colors Black/White, splash of Red and used Kraft cardstock as base.

Have been challenging myself all week so far to use a sketch as my card inspiration.

My daughter took a Japanese Art History class last semester and helped me with this card.

Printed Oriental Beauty digi on white cardstock & cut with Spellbinder die. Embossed red cardstock for front & inside of card. Printed Japanese "Happy Birthday" on my computer on white cardstock. Cut banner/tag for sentiment with Spellbinder die. Added ribbon & bow.

Olympics Silhouette Hat Series Over the Top Card

Created this card using Stitchy Bear digi, Silhouette Hat Series Over The Top, with Olympics theme. Used the colors of the Olympics rings: Blue, Yellow, Black, Green & Red and used USA colors Red/White/Blue.

Used Kraft cardstock as the Base. Used Spellbinders Nestabilities Beaded Circles to cut the digi for framing.  Used the colors of the Olympics rings for matting the digi. Used George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge to cut the many .60" circles in each of the 5 Olympic rings colors.  Used Gold Foil Board for photo corners with Sizzix photo corners die cut. Used Spellbinders Shapeabilities Ribbon Banner for sentiment tag/banner. Used K Andrew Designs Positive Thoughts stamp with Stampabilities Pigment gold ink to stamp the sentiment on the tag/banner. Used Red/White/Blue ribbon. Added a USA flag button. Added hand calligraphy of 2012.

Deer Snow Scene Christmas Card

Created this Christmas Card using a digi, Deer Snow Scene, from Stitchy Bear. 

Printed the digi on white cardstock. Cut the digi out using Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Classic Inverted Scalloped Square. Used Stamp n Plus chalks: Teddy Bear (brown for Deers) & Stardust (for snow). Used the same Spellbinders for layers & tag. Used DCWV winter mat stack as Base on white cardstock. Used Recollections Rubber Stamp 'let it snow.' Used Jenni Bolin Soap Powder ink to stamp the sentiment on tag. Used 2 pieces of twine: blue/white & green/white.

Esther Elephant Birthday Card

Created this Birthday Card using:

If anyone is wondering how I have this wonderful stamp set that is part of July release it is because I joined the MFP group of wonderful people 7/4/12 when they asked if I'd like to host a weekly challenge on Wednesdays named 'Simple Salutations.' You can find the current 'Simple Salutations' challenge by clicking on my blog sidebar image. For hosting & creating a sample card I receive some of the stamps from new release as well as former. One I received recently was Be Wild & Free and was told that I could not use publicly until after 7/10/12.

4th of July BJ Little Bea Card

Created this 4th of July Card with the theme of a girl watching a 4th of July Parade. Used a digi from Stitchy Bear, BJ Little Bea, that I had won. Used Stand & Salute Cricut cartridge for the flag the girl is waving.

Used Kraft cardstock including regular & americana as well as scrapbook paper. Used Spellbinders dies & corner rounder for shaping the edges of the cardstock. Colored the digi using Crayola colored pencils. Used Spellbinder for tag. Heat embossed the sentiment. Added red/white/blue ribbon to the tag. For the red/white/blue flowers I colored white flowers using Tim Holtz Distress Inks. Added a star button to the flag, to the center of the flowers & to the girl's shoes. Placed the flag to be waved by the girl.

Peacock happy bird-day Card

Created this Peacock happy bird-day card using a digi, Peacock, I had won from Stitchybear. Used it once before for a scrapbook layout.

Printed the digi on blue cardstock. Used Spellbinders for layers. Used 2 kinds of faux stitching: on the Base layer I used a Sakura Glaze pen & ruler to make stitch marks around the border and used an embossing folder, Cutlebug Pinking Stitch, on one layer. Colored the Peacock with pencil colors, glitter, markers & pens. Used a Spellbinder for the banners (it makes 3 so I cut one off since I only had 3 words to stamp) and heat embossed stamped happy bird-day. Added bling & ribbon.
