Halloween Skull & Crossbones Wreath

Have a Bone Chilling Happy Halloween to all those who celebrate Halloween!

Did not have a Halloween wreath so I bought the styrofoam wreath that was covered with black mesh skull design at JoAnns 70% off and addl 20% off.

Did not have red gems for skull eyes so I colored clear gems with a Spectrum Noir red marker.

Stamped sentiments, attached to Skull ribbon  and attached to bottom of wreath. Had originally placed the stamped sentiments on the wreath at top and when I asked daughter if she liked it she gave me her artistic critique that the sentiments on the wreath at top looked out of place and suggested I move them to bottom of wreath under the bottom skull. I like how they look at bottom attached to the ribbon.

This will hang on front door for trick or treaters to see. Photographed it on wall near my Johnny Depp as Mad Hatter life-size cardboard figure since it is raining now.

Halloween Haunted House Votive/Treat Box & 2015 2nd carved pumpkin

Marie Flayer of NJ Stamping Queen blog shared her Halloween Votive Box file with me. You can click here to see her boxes.

Haunted House Votive/Treat Box is made using Close To My Heart CTMH Artiste & Artbooking Cricut cartridges. The box is 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" when assembled.

Used vellum inside the box.

The bats are made using black glitter cardstock & CTMH Artbooking Cricut cartridge.

Stamped sentiment and attached it to a toothpick.

Decorated with Halloween ghost ribbon, punched/embossed pumpkins using candy corn scrapbook paper & cat scrapbook paper. Thought it was clever of me to cut the cats in twos from the scrapbook strip for the corners of the box.

Can add treats to this and it becomes a votive treat box. Almost time for trick or treaters.

Hubby carved a 2nd pumpkin. This pumpkin was the 1st choice of pattern and then I changed his mind to do the Pirate Skeleton. I'm sure you will recognize the character carved on this pumpkin. It is a fav movie character of my family; especially my daughter's.

BEE careful to not say the character 3 times in a row.
