DP Milk & Cookies Card

Created this card using Doodle Pantry digis, Milk & Cookies. Using computer I changed the cookies to be all blue & milk straw have blue stripes. Fussy cut out the digis with Tim Holtz scissors. Used TH Distress Ink walnut stain on digi edges. Mounted the digis using foam adhesive. Used new the Paper Studio white heavy weight cardstock bought at Hobby Lobby this wk 50% off. Used VersaMark & white pearl glitter on the cookies. Used Wink of Stella clear pen on the milk. Added blue buttons.

When my daughter was younger I recall she liked blue icing on cookies & blue suckers. I felt it was a kid thing since they liked to see how the blue looked on their tongue.

Snickerdoodle & Fudge Christmas Baking

Made Snickerdoodle cookies and fudge for friends we call my daughter's TX grandparents. Both my parents & my hubby's parents are deceased. The two people I gave the Christmas treats to have been friends with us before my daughter was born for 21+ yrs, they were at the hospital when she was born and have remained friends even though they moved from being next door neighbors to neighbors couple blocks away. They like Nutcrackers so I used scraps of Nutcracker paper on lid.

Jello Pudding Fudge Recipe

Ingredients:

1 pkg. (8 squares) Baker's Semi-Sweet Chocolate, divided
1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, divided
1/3 cup water
1 pkg.(4-serving size) JELL-O Chocolate Instant Pudding
2 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Directions:
1. Microwave 4 of the chocolate squares, 6 Tbsp. of the butter and water in large microwavable bowl on high for 2 minutes or until butter is melted; stir.
2. Add dry pudding mix; stir until well blended.
3. Add powdered sugar, 1 cup at a time, stirring until well blended after each addition. Press into foil-lined 8-inch square pan.
Optional: Add chopped walnuts.
4. Microwave remaining 4 chocolate squares and 2 Tbsp. butter in large microwavable bowl on high 1-1/2 minutes or until butter is melted.
5. Stir until chocolate is completely melted. Spread over pudding mixture. Refrigerate 2 hours or until firm. Cut into 48 (1-inch) squares.
