Made this Halloween treat bag starting with a Cauldron die cut & trimmed to become Frankenstein. Die cut black goo & trimmed to be hair. Die cut letter T to be the neck thingies. Hand drew the mouth & scars. Added wiggle eyes. Used two cardboard die cuts from kit (an oval & circle). Cut the Happy Halloween sentiment stamp so it would fit on the white oval die cut. Die cut the potion & spell bottles and stamped on them. Die cut a spider. Added wiggle eyes to the spider (only had one 3mm wiggle eye so I used the 5mm from the kit and figure they complemented the eyes on Frankenstein). Recycled by cutting a Ghost from an Oreo cookie box from last year.

Ghost Holder Halloween Tag - PrettyPinkPosh GhostHolder

Using the Pretty Pink Posh Ghost Holder die set for first time to make this Halloween Tag. I especially like that the Ghost holds an item such as the pumpkin. Added wiggle eyes, sentiment is BOO and used black glitter cardstock for Bats.

 Dressed up the scarecrow on this Autumn Card using brown felt for hat, fabric swatch remnant for shirt and denim from some old blue jeans for overalls & band on hat. Added some wiggle eyes.

Garden Bee

Made this Bee to hang in my outdoor garden backyard. Tried using yellow paint with a paintbrush but that did not work well on the metal soup can so bought some yellow spray paint. Daughter had a reason to buy some Angry Orchard that she likes since I needed 2 metal bottle caps for the project. Had daughter draw the mouth. For wings I used a cleaner plastic bottle (1 gal plastic milk carton would have been 2nd choice).

marker: black Sharpie (to draw mouth)

metal: soup can, 2 bottle caps (eyes)

other: black tape, plastic recycled cut from a container, string

paint: yellow spray paint

wiggle eyes: 10mm

Halloween Frog Don't Croak Tag

On a another rainy day here in Central TX I had fun crafting this whimsical Frog for an Autumn/Fall Halloween scene Tag to gift with some Halloween goodies.

Some of you know I left Home Depot Aug this yr and now take care of a 7th grader at his house when he gets off bus along with a dog & 2 cats. The 7th grader is autistic & has a speech impediment. He likes to play video games so I have played Star Wars Legos with him. I kidded him that I use to play video game Frogger when I was younger. I won at Star Wars Legos the other day.

Happy Easter & Golden Ticket in Easter Egg

Happy Easter! 

Daisy ever so patient wearing the bunny ears for this photo. I sewed her the Snoopy Easter scrunchie Daisy is wearing. The sisal bunnies are from prior Easters that my hubby got for me. This year he got me the cute Snoopy Easter basket since he knows I'm a fan of Snoopy & Woodstock. He said they had several pink & only one blue and knowing I like blue better he knew I would like it. When you press Snoopy's paw it plays the Peanuts theme song.

Used concept of Golden Ticket (from Willy Wonka) to put inside Easter egg for a prize.

I thought it would be fun to give some Easter surprises to Home Depot co-workers. I colored plastic Easter eggs using alcohol ink. Made a golden ticket to place inside an egg. Crocheted an Easter bunny & eggs (flat kind that could be pinned onto HD apron, forgot to photo these but can make a few more for a photo update later). Had people choose an egg and if they found the egg with the golden ticket they would get the crocheted Easter bunny surprise and others would get crocheted Easter eggs. Much to my surprise the first person that chose an egg chose the one with the golden ticket inside.
