For this scrapbook layout I used photos of the styrofoam pumpkin my hubby carved last year of Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow.
I bought the styrofoam pumpkin from Michaels. Hubby bought the pattern for the pumpkin carving online.
Used 2 photos so you would get an idea of what detail goes into this carving including the shadow areas and what it looks like before the pumpkin is lit up.
Used Mark's Finest Papers stamp for the Treasure Map. Used Tim Holtz Paper Distresser on the edge of the Treasure Map. Used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to inked the edges & surface of the Treasure Map.
Used Sizzix Shadow Numbers die cuts for "2011."
Added a Pirate Flag brad.
brad: the Paper Studio Pirate Flag
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper:
Base 12" x 12" the Paper Studio Skull & Crossbones
Kraft cardstock - treasure map
cardstock scraps - orange, yellow
photos: printed on Kodak paper of styrofoam pumpkin hubby carved
Sizzix: Shadow Box Numbers - 2011
stamp: MFP Pirates Treasure
Tim Holtz:
Distress Ink - old paper, vintaage photo

Your hubby did a good job on the pumpkin and it's nice you can always recycle those and use them again and again.
ReplyDeleteI was thinking that you should get your daughter to draw a design for you hubby to cut. That would be another great way to preserve her art.
