Blue & White Silhouette Heritage Card

Created this card in an unusual way for me. I created the layers of the card before I knew what I would use from a Cricut cartridge for it. Thought it suited Celebrate the Occasion Challenge# 23
"Any Occasion (blue and white)."

Heritage Cricut cartridge 1 1/2" real dial size on

Paper:

Base: 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" white cardstock

Martha Stewart playful blue paper pad (paper has a design on both sides of the paper)
top 3 1/4" x 4 1/4"
center 2 1/4" x 4 1/4" overlaps the top somewhat
bottom 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" overlaps the center somewhat

white cardstock

Spellbinders Nestabilities Classic Scalloped Ovals Large

Celebrate It Basic Narrows ribbon
Decorative trim white lace

foam adhesives

I may add some pearls to the scallop oval

  1. Melissa so simple and so elegant. I love silhouette images but since I hand cut my cards not confident to try them. Your creation is perfect.

  2. Very pretty. My computer screen makes it look sort of teal and lavender which also looks awesome! :) The lace is such a nice vintage touch.
