Kraft Easter Basket & Bunny

Most of you know me as a Clean & Simple CAS style person when it comes to my creations. Sometimes I step out of my comfort zone of CAS. Today, I stepped out of my CAS comfort zone and created this Kraft Easter basket and Bunny. I had my weaving & glitter thinking cap on.

You can see Amanda Coleman's blog by clicking on B is for Basket of Kittens to see the instructions on how to create.

Used Kraft cardstock for the basket. The basket reminded me of a Longaberger style basket. Used white cardstock to emboss the Bunny on. Used white glitter cardstock & Spellbinder oval die to make the Bunny look like it was inside a fancy decorated Easter Egg.

Stamped Basic Grey sentiment and added an action wobble to the back of it for hopping wobble fun.

My Crop-A-Dile punch was handy for punching thru the many layers for the holes for handles & brads to attach the handles with.

Front view. Yes you can see the tape holding it together that after I photographed I taped from inside & removed the outside tape.

Action wobble hopping motion:

adhesive:
glue dots - on ribbon & used to hold together from inside,
red tape - used this instead of ATG tape
masking tape - used to temporarily hold together the top while weaving, Scotch tape - used to hold together which I removed from outside after photographing & tapes on inside

brads: JoAnns Craft Essentials Gold Round Mini - used to attach handles
embossing: Darice Easter Bunny embossing folder
ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
paper: cardstock - Kraft, pastel blue, white, white glitter
punch: Crop-A-Dile - this can punch thru several layers & I used to punch holes for handles & brads, Fiskars - 1 1/2" circle, corner rounder
Spellbinder: Classic scalloped Ovals Large

stamp: Basic Grey

Stampin' Up: punch - 1 1/4" circle
ribbon: Easter collection

    1. You're welcome. Glad to have included your name & link. I had written down your link last yr after Easter and figured I'd give it a try. I had a bit of difficulty on the part about scoring 'between' on the strips after the base is made. I emailed you to find out if you can explain that part to me.
