Vintage Clock Shaped Birthday Card

Created this Vintage Clock Shaped Birthday
Card using Heritage Cricut cartridge & Gypsy
to weld the images together for shaped card.

Makiing a shaped card of this Clock was not
as easy as other shaped cards. Duplicated the
image. Positioned the images on the Gypsy
screen. Flipped the image on the left. Hid the
cuts from image that would become the back
of the card. Moved the image on the right next
to the image on left to weld. The top half showed
it was welded at the top but not the bottom half.
Had to move the images closer to get a good
weld fit.

Embossed the front of card with a woodgrain
embossing folder. Used Distress ink on the
front of embossing and on edges of front of
card.

Hand calligraphy wrote the sentiment
TIME to wish you a Happy Birthday!
on vellum clear paper.

Added brad fasteners to vellum sentiment
and attached to Clock front. Attached a brad
fastener to clock face for hands of clock.

To crease and have shaped card fold correctly
I creased at 4 1/4" & 4 1/2" and this gave me a
binding edge and the images lined up better.

    1. The prop is part of my doll collection stuff and with a battery the hands move and it does keep time. The door on the bottom part opens.

    1. First time making the clock. Saw a clock image on Nursery Rhyme cartridge. First time using the Tim Holtz walnut stain cardstock. Had used the Distress Ink before but was surprised that the cardstock is not all that brown at least not to me until I inked it.
