HAY THERE IT'S PASTURE BIRTHDAY Card - Travel Dest Dude Ranch - Lawn Fawn HayThere

Used Dude Ranch Theme to make for a Travel Destination Belated Birthday Card.

When daughter was younger we spent a wk at a Dude Ranch in Colorado. We were each assigned a horse that we rode every day and in the end participated in a Rodeo. We stayed in a 2 story cabin that was made for many more occupants than just us 3 but we were the only ones in that cabin which had a washer & dryer. All meals (wonderful food, not hot dogs & beans, the owner's wife was the main chef and she was awesome) were served in the dining hall except for the one day that we had Bison (first time I had had Bison and liked) burgers outside. In the photo on left myself & hubby on horses crossing the stream (this day was photo day and it was lightly raining so we had slickers on) and in the photo with hubby our cabin is in the background. In photo on right you can see me on horse at top of a hilly area that hubby photographed (do not have hubby's photo here but yes I photographed him on his horse). Daughter was in a different horse riding group with younger ones her age.

Australia Kangaroo Koala Travel Dest Birthday Card - Lawn Fawn Party KangarooKoala, CTMH AustraliaDayBadge

Combined a couple of stamps to make for a Travel Destination to Australia (would like to travel to the Land Down Under and see the Australia Zoo and more) & Birthday Card. Used CTMH Australia Day Badge stamp covering up the words 'Australia Day' & 'Jan 26.' Used Lawn Fawn Party Kangaroo & Koala with complimenting sentiments for Birthday theme.

On my hubby's side his niece & her family moved to Australia last mth for their job for 3 yrs. Will be a wonderful experience for their children of which one has a birthday coming up that this card will be for.

Seashell Fish Birthday Card - Hero Arts SeaYou Fish Seashells Die

With inspiration from Libby of Hero Arts I made the front of this card. Die cut seashells, glued on front of card, colored using blending brushes & HA reactive ink and added shimmer/shine using CTMH shimmer clear pen. Inside I made a peek-a-boo with sentiment & fish.

What's Happening Thurs 5/20 - CTMH Cricut Eat Play Love ShapedTeaPotCard

Welcome to What's Happening Thursday. I'm Melissa, nickname "Sunshine HoneyBee", an independent Close To My Heart CTMH Consultant/Maker, and I want to share what's happening on Thursday.

1. Close To My Heart (CTMH) Cricut Eat Play Love

There are 13 wonderful images in the digital collection of CTMH Eat Play Love. The Mar-Apr 2021 catalog does not show all the images. The images are: Flower, Tea Pot, Heart Mug, Scrapbook 2 page layout, Season Everything with Love Card, 3 Bowls, Kitchen Tools (Beater, Spatula, Spoon, Rolling Pin), Baking together, Cherries, Leaf, Mixer with bowl, Homemade happiness and Apron Card)

Cricut: cartridge/digital - Close To My Heart Eat Play Love

machine - Explore Air

To make the tea pot as a shaped card is easy. Made screen shots of the steps.

In Cricut Design Space after selecting Images, Image Sets, type in Eat Play Love in search box.

After the images for Eat Play Love are displayed, scroll thru, click on the Tea Pot & click on Insert Images.

After Tea Pot is in Design Space, click on Select All, change height to 4".

Click on Ungroup. There are 2 layers. Move the top cut out layer to right so you will have room to make shaped card with bottom layer. Move bottom layer down so you have room to create a duplicate.

Duplicate the bottom layer, move up, flip horizontally.

Move the duplicated flipped portion down, select both pieces and select weld. You will now have a shaped Tea Pot & the top layer.

Select All, Attach and Make.

Lion have a roaring good birthday Card - Lawn Fawn CrittersontheSavanna - Hero Arts JungleFrame

Used Lawn Fawn Critters on the Savanna Lion & sentiment to showcase a bucket list item of mine which is to go on an African Safari and see wild animals. I especially like Cheetahs.

Used Hero Arts Jungle Frame to complement the theme. Used Tim Holtz Distress Inks on Jungle Frame that was cut from white cardstock.
