TH Tag July 2015

Happy 4th of July to all who celebrate! Daisy had a spa/grooming day at Petco and is showing off her Patriotic red/white/blue colors on her bandana & nails. Daisy crossed her paws like this on her own.

For 4th of July we are having bbq ribs (they are marinating now), Bush's baked beans, deviled eggs (made ahead of time), pasta salad (made ahead of time) & rolls. 

For dessert we are having a red/white/blue dessert: 
red - cherries & Strawberry ice cream, 
white - banana split & Vanilla ice cream & 
blue - blueberries. 

Also having watermelon.



Put alot of work/effort into creating this Tim Holtz July Tag using mostly TH products. 

Started with TH manilla #8 Tag. Did not have the TH cardstock for tag layer so I used some scrapbook paper that had vintage looking star pattern. Stamped on TH Distress Watercolor Cardstock:  TH - USA Flag, USA & Star. Used TH Markers, Distress Ink on mat & paint brush. 

Used black Sharpie to mark stitches. Stitched by hand using black thread. 

Stamped Paper Smooches 'HERO' and cut out sentiment with TH Labels die. Attached 'HERO" sentiment tag with TH stapler.

Made alphanumeric '4' recycling cardboard for dimension & gold foil cardstock. Made gold star using a Stampin' Up star punch. 

Attached gold star with TH metal jumpring. Added inked ribbon.
