Fathers Day BBQ Card

I know it is not time of yr for Father's Day but I'm making maximum use of the Simon Exclusive Kelley Purkey Dude! stamp set and enjoying the variety of uses.

Created this Clean & Simple CAS Father's Day card with a BBQ theme. Used Simon Exclusive Kelley Purkey Dude! stamp for the sentiment. Not afraid anymore to cut stamps like I did by cutting the sentiment into 3 parts for the words.

Happy Fall! autumn TH MIni pumpkin Card

Created this Clean & Simple CAS card with Autumn/Fall colors. Used Tim Holtz Mini Pumpkin. Embossed pumpkin with TH Swirls embossing folder. Used TH Clear Crackle Paint on the pumpkin. Inked the pumpkin stem with Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Added a leaf using Stampin' Up Blossom punch. Stamped Inkadinkado 'autumn' sentiment with  Memento Rich Cocoa ink. Popped up the sentiment tag. Added my hand calligraphy using American Crafts Gold calligraphy marker for 'Happy Fall' sentiment.

Hot Air Balloon Festival Plano 2013 Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple CAS scrapbook layout using 3 photos of mine photographed Sun 9/22 in our front yard when the hot air balloons went over our street. Plano has an annual Balloon Festival which was this past weekend. We do not go every yr so we were pleasantly surprised when 3 balloons went over our house starting with the Plano balloon.

Used Children Around the World Cricut cartridge to make the balloon image in top right corner.

Christmas/Birthday Scrapbook Layout

My daughter's birthday is 2 days after Christmas so for her 4th Birthday we held a Christmas/Birthday. Of course, Santa Claus stopped by. Seems like a lifetime ago she was so young. I started a scrapbook of each of her birthdays and have pages that have to be done.

happy birthday from owl of us Card

Created this card and did manage to use 5 different Designer Papers DP and they are all scrap pieces: trees (appropriate since Owls are woodland critters), balloons (appropriate since it is a birthday card), Owls (my daughter & I both like Owls) and 2 different chevron patterns - gray & green (they complement the Owl paper colors).

Used foam adhesive to pop up the papers for dimension of the Owls in the woodland setting.
