Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) Artist Trading Card (ATC) with a new Fairy stamp. For those that may not know an ATC is 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" in size.
Used Kraft cardstock for base. Used Recollections Fairies new stamp. So the Fairy would sparkle I used VersaMark Dazzle Champagne with Stampendous Stamp n Stuff Kaleidoscope Transparent embossing powder. Used Spellbinder Nest Large Labels for sentiment tag. Used Docerela Creations sentiment "Happy New Year" stamp. Used Fiskars 1" circle punch to snip corners of the ATC for the same look as corners of sentiment tag.

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) Valentine card using Krafty Christmas cardstock for base since I thought the red design had a pretty Valentine swirl look to it. Used Tim Holtz Valentine Background embossing folder on the pink cardstock layer. For sentiment mat I used pink foam that has adhesive backing with Stampin' Up Embosslits Scalloped Heart of Hearts that gives it a raised heart look that looks nice in person but cannot be seen as much in photo. Used Spellbinder Nest Classic Hearts die for sentiment tag that is white cardstock. Stamped sentiment on sentiment tag.

Created this BEE better SOON ! Get Well Card using a BEE theme as you may have guessed.
Used sketch at Die Cuttin Divas.
Used Kraft cardstock for base & strip that is embossed with Tim Holtz Honeycomb embossing folder. Used Echo Park Paper Country Drive Bee's Knees for layers. Used yellow cardstock & black ink to stamp Bees from Sizzix Hero Arts set & sentiment from Darcie's stamp set. Cut the bees out with the framelit that came with the Sizzix Hero Arts set and the sentiment with a Spellbinder Hexagon. Used a black layer cut out with Spellbinder Hexagon for sentiment mat. Used foam adhesive to pop up the Bees on Kraft embossed Honeycomb cardstock and sentiment on sentiment mat. Added black gems.

Fantabulous Cricut has a challenge to create an organization project. Last yr I created a notebook with a Dragon on it since 2012 was Year of the Dragon which you can click here for details. Well, 2013 is Year of the Snake so figured why not use an action wobble on my snake and make it a Rattlesnake on my notebook. See the photo below of the Rattlesnake with Action Wobble movement. I'll use this notebook to record notes of challenge creations by blog friends that I want to refer back to.
Kraft cardstock is the base & Old West scrapbook paper for layer. Used Animal Kingdom for Snake. Used Old West Rope option for '2013' which complements the Western theme. Used Tim Holtz Paper Distresser & Distress Ink walnut stain. Made another of the Wild West Pocket Tag which you can click here for details. Added ribbon.

Chose 'Dog' theme for Mark's Finest Papers Simple Salutations challenge hosting this week 1/2-8 in honor of my dog, Teddy, whose 12th birthday was New Year's Day.
Stamped the Scottie Dog & sentiment on white cardstock. Stamped Scottie on plaid scrapbook paper, cut out/paper pieced the plaid to attach to the stamped image on white cardstock. Used Spellbinder and used negative die cut image cut from paw print scrapbook paper. Used plaid scrapbook paper that matches the paper pieced plaid on stamped Scottie as a layer on the Kraft cardstock base of this card. Added a ribbon that is recycled from a chocolate truffle pkg that hubby gave me for Christmas.

Created this Butterfly Globe Thinking of You Card using a new digi from Catch the Bug BugABoo, Butterfly Globe.
Used Stella Sketch 127 at Catch the Bug.
Used 2 different Kraft cardstock items: regular Kraft cardstock for Base and the Paper Studio everyday Kraft Paper Pack for Butterfly print cardstock. Printed digi on cream cardstock. Cut the base of the digi off with sentiment "Thinking of You" and placed it on left side of sketch layout. Used Scotch Foam Mounting Tape to pop up the pieces. Used vellum paper as one layer so you could see the Butterfly prints on the crdstock. Used ek Butterfly Chain punch. Added 2 of the Butterflies punched out in corners. Added Butterfly ribbon. Used Spellbinders for cream cardstock pennants in top right corner. Used Marvy Snow Marker & Marvy heat tool for snow to make this a snowglobe.

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year 2013 !
Created this New Year Pocket Watch Tag using a Sizzix Original die, Pocket. Used Denim
scrapbook paper for the pocket. The Pocket
die has a faux stitching as part of the die. Used Kraft americana dark blue cardstock as
base of tag cut with scissors. Red tape used to seal up around the edges
of the Pocket except for top where the pocket watch is placed hanging from inside of the
pocket. Added eyelets to Pocket Tag using Crop-A-Dile. Stamped a Basic Grey New Year stamp. Distressed the edges with TH Paper Distresser.
Used Cricut George and Basic Shapes cartridge for 2 1/2" circle of Kraft cardstock that I stamped the Tim Holtz pocket watch on. Used gold link rings attached to the pocket watch and have it hang from inside of pocket.
