Hubby & I rocked out at a Doobie Bros concert on Sat, April 25, that I had won tickets to from a radio station. There were 2 warm-up bands: Matthew Curry & Don Felder, formerly of the Eagles, with his band. Was pleasantly surprised to see & hear Don Felder since I'm a big fan of the Eagles music. Doobie Bros performed favs: Blackwater, China Grove, and much more. See my photos below of the concert taken with a new Canon SX520HS small camera with a wonderful zoom on it that I bought with some Amazon gift cards I had won & one I rcvd as a Christmas gift.

Spent most of Mon 4/26 morn trying to figure out why my Cricut Explore Air would not cut. It would start some time and then stop and then it would not start at all and give me errors. It indicated to retry which I did and then it indicated to call customer service if problem continued. I phoned Cricut and was on hold and then disconnected. Phoned again and was on hold for long time & finally I hung up. I tried cutting using the USB and that worked so I determined the problem was either with the wireless bluetooth and/or the Cricut plugin that I had loaded recently when I was told to update and load the new plugin. I read a bunch of different things online and discovered that the plugin had to be 'activated always' and I had it as 'ask to activate.' It was not asking me to activate and not sure why. I have other programs on my pc and I have those set to ask me if it is ok to run as in 'ask to activate' and they work fine. So, I changed the Cricut plugin to 'always activate' and the bluetooth was able to cut.
Created this Mother's Day card with inspiration from Mary of Cardz TV. You can click here to see Mary's card.
Used a Hero Arts stamp for sentiment. Instead of using foam tape I used a piece of self-adhesive foam cut to be just slightly smaller than the red layer placed between the base & red layer. Added ribbon & bow. Used Wink of Stella clear on the Roses.
