Simply Life Native American Day Bear

Created this Bear after going to the
Plano Balloon Festival Sat morn 9/17.
Even though the balloons did not launch
due to clouds we enjoyed being allowed
onto the fi
eld where the balloons were
inflated and this is not allowed during
a launch. I picked up some trading cards
on the different balloons from pilot & crew
of different balloons. One trading card was
about a balloon with Bears on it and info I'd
like to share with you about the Bear &
Native Americans.

The Bear fetish is a Native American charm
representing strength, courage & wisdom.
Believed to have the ability to heal & comfort.
It is also a protective spirit. It is considered
good luck to have the powerful and
intelligent Bear fetish.

  1. I used background scrapbook paper for photograph but it is not a card & instead is a 3D stand up bear. The balloon trading card had the colors the family members had one their balloon and one was blue which is my fav color so that is what I used. I'm going to make some others in other colors.
