Created this Easter box to hold some candy for a friend. Michaels had papercrafting items 50% off which included the WeR boards so I got the WeR Gift Box board. Made this medium box with an 8" x 8" piece of cardstock. Discovered that the cardstock needs to be sturdier than a piece I first tried because when you score it, crease it and assemble the cardstock tears. Also discovered that red tape works better than other double-sided adhesive. Used some double-sided adhesive and let the box sit for awhile and the adhesive did not hold it together well so I added red tape & it is staying together. The instructions to make the gift box was not difficult to follow. I have the WeR Envelope Punch Board and so I was familiar with the process of punching, scoring, creasing.

Used Hero Arts stamp for sentiment "Happy Easter" and stamp/die Egg for Eggs.

Created this Easter card inspired by Easter egg sweets that are made of icing that you see at Easter time with an area that you peek thru to see what's inside the egg.

Started out making this simple and ended up changing it along the way; starting over a couple times. Decided to emboss the inside part after stamping so I embossed it with one of my fav Cuttlebug embossing folders, Swiss Dots. Embossed the outside piece with other fav Cttlebug embossing folder, D'Vine Swirl, to resemble frosting. Stamped a Hero Arts sentiment "Happy Easter." Decided to get more creative & add colors to the Chick, Bunny & Flowers; making the Chick yellow, making the Bunny be a Chocolate Bunny and giving the flowers a more realistic look than black.

Created this Easter card inspired by Frenchie. You can click here to see Frenchie's video on how to make. I did not have the Stampin' Up Oval dies and did not have Spellbinder Oval dies in the 4 1/2" size I wanted. I used George and Basic Shapes Cricut cartridge to make the Ovals. I used scissors to cut the cracked egg part. Used SU bird punch for Chick. Used 2 different stamps for sentiments: Inky Antics Easter Chick "Not yolkin' ..." for humor sentiment on inside of Egg and SU Teeny Tiny Wishes "Happy Easter" sentiment on front of Egg. Used a Martha Stewart Tulip punch and addedd the Tulips to cover the brad.

Easter Little Artist Egg Shaped Card

Created this Easter card using Stitchy Bear digi, Little Artist, and Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge to make the Egg shaped card.

My idea for this was to make it look like one of those pretty decorated Easter eggs you see in a Bakery shop.
