Valentine Cupid Card

Created this Valentine Cupid Card using Sweethearts Cricut cartridge. The Cupid image was cut some time ago and was the leftover part from making the card option with Cupid image cut out. The bow & arrow make for my 3 Cricut cuts that Exploring Cricut challenge requires. My at least one embellishment are the buttons & twine. My 2 pattern papers are the layer of red XOXO paper & the pink heart paper under the Valentine ticket in the bottom right corner.

The difficult part was stamping the sentiment "XO" on the Cupid. The stamp is a mini plastic rubber that is cylinder shaped and the label on the top part does not match up with where the stamp is on the bottom so I had to hold it after looking at bottom & trying it out a couple of times to get it looking correct.

Added gold chalk to the bow tips. Used Glossy Accents mixed with the chalk to adhere it to the bow tips with a cotton swab.

Fireworks Scrapbook Layout

Happy 4th of July to everyone in the USA & belated Happy Canada Day to all the Canada followers of my blog.

Created this Fireworks Scrapbook Layout using photos of fireworks I photographed.

Used Stand & Salute Cricut cartridge for the fireworks die cuts. Used VersaMark ink on the fireworks die cuts. Used spunger too apply Buzz N Magic Stardust chalk to the fireworks die cuts to make them shine. You can buy the chalk at Chalk-Ah-Lot store and then you could enter the challenges there that require the use of their chalk. Used Spellbinder die cut for banner for journaling.
