Penguin Swimming Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple (CAS) scrapbook layout of Penguin at Dallas Zoo. Focused on the cute Penguin swimming photos.

I was pleasantly surprised at how these photos turned out because I was photographing thru glass viewing area and the
Penguin was fast.

Use core'dinations Turquoise Gem cardstock for 12" x 12" Base. Used Colorbok Waves scrapbook paper and stamped on the Waves pattern paper with stamps from 2 different stamp sets. The sentiment "Just keep swimming" is appropriate for the swimming Penguin. Printed the 4" x 6" photos on Kodak paper. Matted the photos on cored'inations Onyx cardstock.

Zoo Gorilla Scrapbook Layout

Created this Gorilla Scrapbook Layout using photos of a
Lowland Gorilla named Hercules at the Dallas Zoo.

When I saw Hercules with the straw on his back I knew I
had to photograph that. Watched Hercules take the straw
and unload it and then he layed down on the bed of straw.
Unfortunately where he was was too far even for my
300mm zoom lens I was using. These photographs are
taken thru glass using Landscape mode & no flash
to avoid glass glare.

Closeups:

Wonder if I should use a black Sharpie & silver marker
to highlight the Cricut cuts. What do you think?
