Fair Elephant 4th Bday Card

Created this Fair/Carnival/Circus Elephant Happy 4th Birthday Card using many different things.

The Fair scene I've created with the Ferris Wheel, Elephants & Big Top continues on the inside of the card as well.

Used Recollections Chevrons cardstock as base of card. Used Martha Stewart score board & bone folder to score lines to frame the Ferris Wheel.

Stamped "Fair" on pennants/banners. Used twine for embellishment. Stamped the Ferris Wheel on vellum. Used 2 small silver brads to hold the vellum stamped Ferris Wheel in place. Used Carousel Cricut Lite cartridge for Elephants on front of card. Welded 2 Elephants together using Gypsy. Used 2 plastic Elephants for a count of 4 Elephants since this is a Happy 4th Birthday card. Stamped "Happy 4th Birthday" directly on Chevron cardstock. Hardest part was stamping the "4th" which I had to do individually because if placed on stamping block at one time the characters were spaced apart too much and could not be moved closer together. Stamped Elephants for inside on vellum. Stamped Big Top Tent & more sentiments " May all your wishes come true" "Under the Big Top" on inside. Added red gems to inside.

Train Shaped Father's Day Card

Created this Train Shaped Father's Day Card using shades of blue. Used Carousel Lite Cricut cartridge for Train. Had made the same train shape card Jan this yr as a birthday card so I had it saved on my Gypsy. Used the same idea of the puff of smoke for the sentiment.

Punched a scallop for sentiment. Stamped sentiment on scallop punch & added to train as puff as smoke. Added twine to the train wheels. Found that Zig 2 way glue with Chisel Tip is wonderful for gluing down twine. Added brads to center of train wheels. Used a piece of plastic wrap from a Tim Holtz Distress Ink pkg as clear plastic for window area. Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink around the edges. Added a 2nd piece of train image on inside to hide the tape holding the plastic wrap in place & to cover up the brad metal.

Carnival Style Party Invitation

Created this Clean & Simple project that can be
used as a Party Invitation with a Carnival theme
using the Carousel Cricut Lite cartridge.

Figured that to attend a Carnival everyone needs
ticket(s) and figured that this would be a cute party
invitation idea.

Used the stars that were cut from front on inside.

The details of the party can be written on the inside.

Train Locomotive Shaped Birthday Card

Created this Clean and Simple Train Locomotive
Shaped Birthday Card using Carousel Cricut Lite
cartridge & Gypsy to weld the images together to
make the shaped card. Since card is a birthday
card for a young boy decided to not embellish.

I stamped the sentiment using Zing silver embossing
powder and then used a Fiskars scallop punch that I
thought looked like a puff of smoke.

Now please do not think I mean trains are only
for men because that is not the case. Matter of
fact I have some trains. Some that I bought when
I first moved to TX & some that my father gave
me.

There are some train photos near bottom of the
post of a display that I went to Jan. this yr called
The
Trains of NorthPark.
