Worked this weekend on this 2nd scrapbook page layout of my dog Holly's 4th Birthday 11/12/2020.

Used Newton's Nook Pawprint Shaker Die and cut using felt but not as a shaker. Maybe next time.

Used CTMH Party Balloons dies but not the stamps. Maybe next time. 

Looked at couple Cricut borders for the curved look but did not like and chose to hand cut the pennant paper.

Added some embellishments: gems (pink to make number 4, green on tag)

Used Cricut for the Notebook paper image (used for journaling). Looked at couple Cricut borders for the curved look but did not like and chose to hand cut the pennant paper.

Used calligraphy for Title (Holly's 4th Birthday 11/12/2020) & journaling (We went to Arbor Hills Nature Preserve Plano, TX).

Added some embellishments: gems (4 Butterflies to complement Nature Preserve theme & 4 brown gems on notebook paper).

Bday Balloon Card

Made this birthday card using CTMH Confetti embossing folder for background and CTMH stamp/die for balloons & sentiment. Added shine to balloons using CTMH Shimmer Clear pen. Added Lawn Fawn pattern paper.

  my fav tool used is my Sizzix BIGkick used to do embossing & to cut the dies

Butterfly Birthday Card

Made this birthday card and made the Butterfly in steps:
  1. stamped the black pattern on wings,
  2. die cut the butterfly 
      (found it easier to die cut first after trial & error),
  3. keeping the die cut out butterfly in the cardstock
     lined up the antennae & body using MISTI,
  4. stamped the antennae & body,
  5. stamped top wing over black pattern with blue ink,
  6. stamped bottom wing on scrap paper to lighten the ink,
  7. after stamping off on scrap paper stamped bottom wing 

Our Shasta Daisies that a neighbor gave us years ago are blooming under our Rose of Sharon tree.

cardstock/paper: Bazzill, core'dinations, white
