Used a heart swoosh cutout piece from a previous project. Used a scrap piece of scrapbook paper for behind the heart swoosh cutout. First I stamped the Cupid. Then I looked for the right sentiment stamp. Of all the stamps I have the one I chose is a wooden rubber stamp. I used my Stampin' Up stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the wooden rubber stamp. Added 2 heart gems.

Hope everyone is having a wonderful Valentine's Day. My Hubby, daughter & I had a wonderful Valentine's lunch at Black Eyed Pea restaurant. At home we had chocolate cream cheese filled cupcakes for dessert that Hubby had for us.
For Valentine's Day for Daisy I had an Antler chew thingie. Daisy has no interest in the Antler thingie. I'll return the Antler thingie to Petco. Daisy likes to fetch sticks outside and recently likes wooden blocks. Hubby had made a pyramid using cedar wooden blocks for a business class that we have in the backyard. Daisy discovered one of the blocks that was loose and has been playing with it in the yard. I toss the block, she runs to get it & drops it for me to toss over & over.

Used mostly Tim Holtz items in creating this Valentine Tag.
Used TH Hearts Layering Stencil for first time. Not sure if you do this but I'll buy something and sometimes I'm not sure how to use it exactly so I let it sit & then forget about it. Well, that is what I did with the TH Hearts Layering Stencil. After using I like how it turned out.
I cut my tag using a TH Tag die. I taped the Hearts Layering Stencil over the Tag. Used TH Distress Ink spun sugar on the TH Layering Stencil. Distressed the edges of the Tag using TH paper distressing. I like the core'dinations white cardstock, Barn Siding, I used because it has a red base that shows up when you distress it. Always wondered why TH does not come up with a white cardstock when he has so many other colors.
Distressed the TH cardstock with TH sander before cutting the Cupid & Heart. Learned this tip of distressing it with sander before cutting and that way you do not tear the ends of the image like can happen if you use sander after cutting. Cut the TH Cupid & Heart using TH Mini Love Struck Set. Distressed the edges of the TH Cupid Heart some more using TH Distress Ink.
Stamped sentiment ticket. Distressed the edges with paper distresser & Th Distress Ink. Stapled the ticket sentiment to Tag using TH stapler/staples. Had to look for my TH stapler because I had not used it in awhile and sometimes tools get misplaced. I had misplaced it one other time and then bought a 2nd but before I opened the 2nd one I found mine and returned the 2nd. Has this happened to anyone else?
Cut some ribbon & used TH Distress Ink on it to complement the rest of the distressed items. Added the distressed ribbon. Entering this in the TH Tags of 2014 Valentine Tag challenge and some other challenges as well.

Hubby gave me a Heart shaped box of Hershey Truffles for Valentine's Day. 2 weeks ago he gave me an early Valentine's present, a Samsonite luggage piece with wheels carry on that holds my laptop & change of clothes. Used the Samsonite luggage on mini trip to CA.
Created this Valentine tag with Shimmer Paper that has colors of pinks & purples.
