 Long time fan of Captain Jack Sparrow in the movie Pirates of the Caribbean. My daughter drew this sketch, her first of Captain Jack Sparrow, what seems like a life time ago (16 yrs ago). I made the map, distressed it, ink smooshed on map, sprayed with ink, sprayed water on it and dried it with heat gun. The scrapbook layout is Clean & Simple with background paper.

Merry Christmas Poinsettias Card

Made this card using a Tim Holtz stamp/die that I have had for quite awhile and do not think I used until now. It has dies for creating dimension to the Poinsettias.

Eat Cake Bday Card

Made this birthday card with several elements. Used a MFT Die-Namics die (Piece of Cake) that was a freebie with order. Used colors in MFT Color Challenge: Whip Cream - white, Lemon Drop - Yellow, Persimmon - Red/Orange pattern cardstock (cake layers) and Milk Chocolate - brown (cake frosting). Made the card interactive by adding a pull strip (Lawn Fawn Push Here stamp - Pull Here) that when pulled the words EAT CAKE (CTMH Celebrate Today Cardmaking stamp sentiment) is revealed. Used a MFT sketch (see below). Was going for a masculine look, thus the distressed white cardstock.

Recipe Old-Time Soft Sugar Cookies Tag

Recycled a couple of things when making this Recipe Tag. The Smidge Spoon circle at top left, the recipe and the word SUGAR came from a 4lb bag of sugar. Distressed the edges using Tim Holtz Distress Ink. Learned a new tip/trick to adding dimension which is to use recycled cardboard on backs of items instead of foam adhesive since the cardboard is less costly. Added the gems since I thought they had a vintage look & sparkled like sugar.

Thanksgiving Fall Fence Artwork

Used an embossing folder. Distressed the embossing with sanding tool. Stamped sentiment, cut out with punch & used a mini clothespin to attach. Added some twine.
