Created this GrandParent Scrapbook Layout
as an update to a partially created 1 of 2 pages.
I had a couple 8" x 8" albums that I wanted to put to use.
I decided to make one a GrandParent/Parent scrapbook.
Layout has photo of my Grandfather (on my father's side)
who enjoyed fishing & took me fishing several times when he
visited us E coast of FL where I grew up. He would clean the
fish, debone it & cook it.
Layout is of my older sister (older by 1 yr) on left &
me on right (I had such pretty blonde hair) with the
fish my Grandfather had caught laying on aluminum foil in our
laps and Grandfather on far right.
Photographed at front doorstep of 2nd house we lived in in FL.
Not sure of yr of photo or my age at time photo was taken
but do know that my younger brother was in a stroller in another
photo from same timeframe as this so it was in the 1960s.

PS - Thanks for always letting me know when I win something...I don't always see it!! I truly appreciate it :D
I was having deja vu on this layout knowing I had seen it before! I see now that you added ribbon! I love this photo of you and your sister and yes, you did have pretty blonde hair!
ReplyDeleteYes, you saw this unfinished earlier this wk. I matted the photo, added tag with hand calligraphy, added fish ribbon & adhered the fishing pole to the paper. Just was not sure how I was going to finish it at first and found that sometimes you let it sit awhile & then an idea comes to you. Yep, had pretty blonde hair but that all changed once I grew up. Heehee.
