Hot Air Balloon Valentine

Created this Valentine card using Victorian Romance Cricut cartridge for the Hot Air Balloon. 

Used Kraft Journal store Buff Ivory cardstock for banner & part of Hot Air Balloon basket that peeks thru the heart cutout of basket. 

Used scrap piece of Sky Cloud paper. Used a Wilton doily. 

Stamped Recollections sentiment on banner. Took a couple trys to get the sentiment to stamp with all the ink showing surrounding the words. I've learned that most stamps need to be seasoned as in tried out couple times before they stamp with no glitches.

Added buttons & ribbon.

Inspirational Psalm 19:14 Card

Created this Inspirational card using Psalm 19:14. Used Spellbinder to make shaped card by placing the plates in such a way that the top peak is not cut and only the sides are cut. Hand wrote the Psalm with my calligraphy pen on vellum. Used some scrap green tissue that has glitter sprinkles on it and was nicely surprised at how the tissue cut without it tearing. I did however use green cardstock to put the green tissue on to give it more support on the card and keep it from tearing on surface of card. The vellum is on a layer of Buff Ivory cardstock and the base is Light Kraft Cover Weight cardstock.
