Christmas Snowflake Drink Cup Card - CTMH ToGoCups

Happy New Year 2024!

Played the Starbucks Holiday Game. Won several 5 stars reward stars. Completed all except for one (order using app, I tend to like ordering in person, using my personal cup and that way I get 25 reward stars & $0.10 off drink) challenges. For prizes I needed 1 more for all. Anyone else play and win anything? 

Starting off the New Year by making a Christmas card to help with the rush of the holidays.

Made a drink cup Christmas card.

Used CTMH To Go Cups die. 

Added some recycled snowflake pattern paper wrapping paper. 

Used some Kraft coffee pattern cardstock that I have had for quite some time and seem to be using up, first found it when I was on vacation many yrs ago in a Ben Franklin store and then found it in JoAnn's and not sure if it is available anymore. Anyone recognize it and know whether it is still available anywhere? Used crimper tool for texture. 

Stamped snowflakes on rim of cup lid. 

Used vellum and stamped Christmas sentiment (used heat tool on sentiment ink) on band which can be removed to see inside of card.

Christmas Cup of Cheer Card - Newtons Nook CupofCocoa Mugs

Used a stencil along with an embossing diffuser to mask the center and ink blended red. Masked the cup image and ink blended the green.

Kraft cardstock is perfect for a masculine card. Cup in center has a Santa Claus look.

Hot Drink Sketch Card with Snowflakes - CTMH JanMthofYr - Newtons Nook WinterWoofs

Used a tag to make a card using a sketch (can you see the vellum banner?) which you can see below. Added more snowflakes using Newton's Nook Winter Woofs stamp/die. Used Kraft with Red stripes to complement the red/white twine.

Photographed it with a Snowflake mug I had from Hallmark when I use to work at Hallmark.

Hot Air Balloon Shaker Card

Have enjoyed seeing & photographing Hot Air Balloons for quite awhile. Plano, which is in N TX, holds an annual Hot Air Balloon Festival. The Festival is cancelled for this year due to Covid. Once we went to evening event that is called 'The Glow' where the Hot Air Balloons are tethered in place and lit up but do not take off. Made this card with 'The Glow' in mind (the beads inside for shaker style are to resemble the balloon glowing)

Used Lawn Fawn LF Hot Air Balloon dies both small & large to make the layers & shaker pieces. Colored with Copics which I recently bought (50% off at Michaels) and am practicing with them.

The card is photographed with a Hot Air Balloon craft item bought at one of the Festivals. When daughter was younger I used butterfly clips in her hair and when she grew up the clips became decoration on the basket.
