Freedom Card
Made this Patriotic card using a stencil with spackling paste for the stars on white foam. Discovered that after die cutting scallop piece the stenciled stars were melded into the foam instead of being on top of the surface due to the Sizzix acryllic plates pressing down on the stars. Used a sketch which you can see below. Did some faux stitching using a silver (looks close to gray color) gel pen. Used Cricut. Added homemade sequins.
Supplies List
Cricut cartridge: Independence Day - Freedom 2.75" width
Die-Namics: die - Sequins
other: white foam,
DAP all-purpose spackling paste bought at Home Depot for stars on foam
paper: cardstock - Blueberry blue glitter, Cement Grey, Blue Yonder blue glitter,
Cherry Crisp - red glitter, white glitter scrapbook - fireworks
pen: white gel for faux stitching
Tim Holtz: cardstock - Blueberry, Blue Yonder, Cherry Crisp - red
stencil - Stars Layering
