Stamped a Hero Arts Hydrangea (a big stamp) which I paper pieced by stamping multiple times. Stamped Chevron pattern from Paper Smooches. Used Cricut cartridge Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art for Bunny Border. Embossed part of Bunny Border with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder. Used several layers & dimension. Added ribbon.

Created this dual theme non-traditional color of shades of purple Christmas & New Year card. Used Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art Cricut cartridge. Embossed the white layer with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirl embossing folder. Used Stamp N Plus chalk with Versamark ink on the embossed layer.

Easter Basket Card

There's a lot of firsts that happened with the making of this Easter card. 

This is the first time I've used 3 different Cricut cartridges on one creation. Used Cricut cartidges: Doodlecharms for the basket, Easter 2010 for the Bunny & Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art for the Chick. 

This is first time I've used a metal bottle cap. I bought the metal bottle caps at Hobby Lobby couple wks ago when they were 50% off and then forgot about them. I bought some pre-flattened ones & some not flattened. The purple one I used here was not pre-flattened. Used the Sizzix to flatten the bottlecap. First attempt using the Sizzix platform with both flaps 1 & 2 closed. It flattened it too flat; flat like an oval pancake. 2nd attempt I used the Sizzix platform with both flaps 1 & 2 flipped open.  

This is the first time I've used Oriental Weave embossing folder on  a basket and I liked the look on the basket. 

Added green Easter grass to basket for texture.

Added ribbon to basket.

Added purple glitter to the eggs in basket.

Added wiggles eyes to the bunny & chick.

Added small oval gems to represent jelly beans and for sparkle.

Added purple/white twine.

Easter Chick Bag Decor

I was inspired by Becky Garrison of Kraft Journal DT to create this Easter bag decoration. You can see Becky's creation by clicking here.

Used Kraft bag as base. Used Martha Stewart Seasonal Cake Art Cricut cartridge for Chick & Egg. Added a wiggle eye to Chick. Added stickles for glitter on Chick's beak & feet.
