Happy Bird day Gift Card Holder Card

Thought outside the box or should I say card when making this as a gift card holder & it is easy to make. Using 2 pieces of scrapbook paper with top layer having part of an oval punch cut out & using foam adhesive it makes for a pocket to tuck a gift card into. Just remember to measure size of gift card and use foam adhesive so the gift card does not fall to the very bottom of the pocket.

First time using the Tim Holtz Splat die which I've had for awhile. I liked the way it looked to use the TH Splat die & the negative piece from it as well. What do you think of when you see the bird stamp & the bird splat?

3D Breast Cancer Purse

Created this 3D creation with a Breast cancer Awareness theme.

Used Cricut cartridge Artiste to make the 3D purse. Cut the purse at 5". Used solid pink cardstock for the base of the purse. Used mambi Breast Cancer pad of 8" x 8" cardstock for pocket on front of purse.

Cut a tag with Spellbinder die out of mambi cardstock. Stamped Hero Arts sentiment on tag.

Added feather & ribbon to tag. Added sticky velcro to purse.

Thank you for your friendship Tag

Created this Thank You Tag by recycling a box panel from Panera Bread restaurant that has the Eiffel Tower on it. 

Thought I had a 'Merci' stamp but did not find one in my huge stamp collection. So, I  embossed 'Merci Thank You' using  a Cuttlebug embossing folder and fussy cutting out the words I wanted. Stamped a Hero Arts sentiment.

Inked edges. Added feather, flowers, gem and ribbon.

owl my love One Layer Card

Made this one layer card using Tim Holtz Woodgrain embossing folder along with TH Embossing Diffuser to prevent the center part from being embossed so I could stamp in the center area.

Used Tim Holtz sander & Distress Ink on embossing

Stamped Hero Arts leafy branch, Owl & sentiment. Added ribbon & wiggle eyes. Stamped a heart on inside of card.

Took card outside to photograph near my Mini Magnolia Tree in backyard. Found a feather which I believe is a Dove feather. Added the feather to the card.
