Set Sail Scene Card

Used the stamps to create a scene. I was not sure about what color to use as the base for framing this scene done with black ink on white cardstock. What do you think, do you like the blue base or should have I used a black base?

Thought I'd make this about find the following in the scene and see how many you can find:
2 clouds
3 birds
4 plants
sail boat
sand 
wood pier

Welcome Home Card

Created this card with a Navy/Welcome Home theme.

Used a sketch which I rotated to the left 90 degrees. Used Paper Smooches picture for inspiration.

Used BugABoo digi, Boat Duckie. Colored digi with Crayola pencil colors & some on computer. Cut out digi with Simon Says Stamp Stitched die. Added a wobble to back of digi.

Used a Sizzix Pocket die turned upside down to be a house for PS picture inspiration. Stamped PS banners, Eagle, pier, sentiment & StarFish. Trimmed the banners to use as part of sketch.

Added Tim Holtz texture paste to PS stamped StarFish to give it realistic bumpy texture. After allowing StarFish to dry I used Wink of Stella gold pen to give it sparkle.

On PS Eagle I used Enamel accents black for Eagles's eye, GellyRoll white pen for Bald Eagle features & Wink of Stella gold pen for Eagle's beak.

Fussy cut out with scissors: banners, Eagle, pier & StarFish.
