Polar Bear San Diego Zoo Scrapbook Layout

Created this Clean & Simple CAS scrapbook layout of the Polar Bear exhibit at the San Diego Zoo that my hubby & I enjoyed while on vacation Feb. 8, 2013.

Used Everyday Kraft cardstock as 12" x 12" base. Used glitter cardstock for photo mat for top left photo. Used Paper Pizazz Poll Water scrapbook paper for photo mat for bottom right photo. Used Animal Kingdom Cricut cartridge for Polar Bear Journal Tag. Calligraphy wrote the journal info. Used an action wobble on the journal tag.

San Diego Zoo Panda Scrapbook Layout

Recently went on a mini trip to Covina, CA. Hubby was there on business. We enjoyed a day at San Diego Zoo. San Diego is 2 hrs away. I had been to San Diego Zoo before but never seen a Panda cub in person and when I heard that the new male Panda cub was now on display to the public I had to see it. They only had it on display from 10am - 12 noon. Both Mother Panda & Cub were sleeping when we arrived. We went back thru several times and they woke up. The Mother was near where she had been sleeping and the Cub was down in the moat. The Cub moved around and finally was in view & I photographed. Have seen many Pandas at Atlanta Zoo & National Zoo also. Weather in CA was in the cool 60s & it rained off & on.
