When I saw the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge "Ridlde: What's Black & White & Read All Over? Answer: a Book challenge to create a CAS project. inspired by a book and use black/white/red I had a good idea what I wanted to do. I do not have many of the Cricut cartridge images memorized/familarized with but the Disney Classics cartridge is one that I recall alot of the images and I remembered the image of Pinocchio reading a book.
Then there was the challenge at the Play Date Cafe for colors black/white with splash of red.
Chose black background which I cut couple of to make this sturdy, white for image of Pinocchio & Pinocchio letters and splash of red on "the book" Pinocchio is reading.
Entering this into following challenges:
CAS-usal Fridays
Tell what book - mine obviously is Pinocchio

Welcome back to CAS-ual Fridays, The Clean And Simple Challenge!
This week we have a riddle for you...
The answer is a book!
In honor of International Literacy Day on September 8th,
we have a special challenge involving papercrafting and books.
CFC18: Create a Clean And Simple project inspired by a book, and use the colors black, white and red.
You can choose your book from any genre, just please tell us which book. You may find your inspiration on the cover, from a character or from within the story itself.
Get creative and have fun with it.
In case you're not familiar with this day of observance, The United Nations' (UN) International Literacy Day annually falls on September 8 to raise people's awareness of and concern for literacy issues in the world. You can read a bit more about it HERE.
