Scrapbook Layout of Kansas City Zoo Polar Bear Passage
Created this scrapbook layout of Kansas City Polar Bear Passage exhibit which hubby & I visited Summer last yr, 8/21/10. Was 1st yr the exhibit opened. Nikita was born 11/21/06 and is the only Polar Bear but they have room for more.

Did not mat the Polar Bear photos.
Paper:
base is 12" x 12" turquoise cardstock
patterened paper Paper Pizazz 'Pool Water' 11 1/2" x 11 1/2"
white cardstock
Joys of the Season Cricut cartridge bear shadow 2 1/2" with trailing bow cut off
Tulip Glitter Diamond Dimensional Paint to add glitter to Polar Bear image
black eye on the Polar Bear is homemade from ranger Inkessentials Enamel accents black
(some time ago I squirted a few drops onto wax paper & let dry & fortunately I had one for the right size eye for the Polar Bear since I did not have any black gems)
mini glue dot to adhere black eye to Polar Bear
ek success real estate sign punch for journaling info

ReplyDeleteOh, you got some AWESOME polar bear pictures at the zoo, Melissa!! WE have a fabulous polar bear exhibit at our zoo too -- There's even a tunnel so you can walk UNDER the water while they're swimming -- Coolest thing EVER!! :) LOVE the water paper you used for the background... I seriously want to go to the zoo now!! :)
