Jolly Holidays Penguin with Umbrella Christmas Card Using 2011 Summer Online Ink Emboss Folder Technique

Created this Christmas Card of Penguin with Umbrella using Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge and 2011 Summer Online Ink Emboss Folder technique.

Used a technique new to me from 2011 Online Summer Card Class. Technique is to ink an embossing folder (female side which is the side with the word Cuttlebug or Sizzix on it) and then place paper inside embossing folder to emboss. The ink is transferred to the paper surrounding the raised edges. You can also ink the male side for a debossed look.

  5. ty everyone, thanks for noticing my progress. Having fun & learning so much. Like exploring all the different cuts on the cartridges, when using the embossing technique the ink washes right off the embossing folder, but would not use Versamark or Staz On inks

  8. Okay, this card is ADORABLE! I love penguins and the embossing is perfect! Thanks for your sweet comments. I wanted to answer your questions that you left. The orange ink is actually Tsukineko Kaleidacolor Ink Pad (they come in various rainbows of colors and stamp beautifully). I've had mine for years and they still are nice and juicy. I LOVE them. I was on a trial group for the Action Wobbles before they came out on the market but I also have bought some because I love them so much. They were bought straight off their website at http://actionwobble.com/ (I believe they are only selling them through Amazon.com right now. Anyway, I hope that answers your questions. Thanks again!!! Hugs- Glora
