Valentine Scrapbook Layout with Panda theme

Created this Valentine Scrapbook Layout
with a Panda theme because besides
Cheetahs my other favorite wild animal
are Giant Pandas.

Inspiration came from Feb Cricut magazine
Hugs to You by Jamie Greene page 100.
This Feb issue in my opinion is the best yet.

Used Pagoda Cricut cartridge for Panda image
and Paisley Cricut cartridge for the heart the Panda
is holding. Who would have thought that the Paisley
cartridge would have a heart image on it and it is on
a shoe image page.

Used Enamel accents white for Panda eyes. Used
gold glitter on the ears, nose & paws.
Discovered that
white glitter on black becomes green. Anyone know
why that is?
Inked edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink
walnut stain for a more realistic look. All the Pandas
I've seen the white part is never bright clean white.
Panda is holding a red heart with red glitter on it.
Attached a costume jewelry heart charm I found in
my jewelry box.

Used the Paper Studio Texture Red paper
as 12" x 12" base. Hobby Lobby sells many
colors of this paper and it has no texture you
can feel but has a pretty texture pattern.

Used Cuttlebug Oriental Weave Bamboo
embossing folder on gold glitter paper.

Used Martha Stewart (MS) Ruffled Heart
Punch Anywhere on the Page. Discovered
some time ago that I cannot punch glitter
paper with my regular punches since glitter
paper is thick but had no problem using the
Punch Anywhere on the Page style punch.
Teddy, my mixed breed Hound dog that
thinks he is part Cougar does not like some
noises like when using a punch like this since
you have to press down hard to get the punch
to work.

Used the hearts that were punched out from the
MS Ruffled Heart Punch. Yes, I had to punch another
for 2 hearts but I'll save the other gold image for later
use.

I'm going to print a photo of Hubby & I on vellum
paper & see what it looks like on the layout.

Pandas I've seen the white part is never bright
clean white) holding a red heart with red glitter
on it & a heart charm. Discovered that white glitter
on black becomes green. Anyone know why that
is?
