SwallowTail Butterfly take flight Card

Created this card using a Stampin' Up SwallowTail Butterfly stamp that I've had for awhile & first time using. The stamp is huge and at first I had difficulty getting it to adhere to the large SU block.

Used a sketch which you can see below. Decided to stamp & cut the stamp into panels. Used an embossing border on the panel to the far right. Stamped K Andrew Designs sentiment. Added SU Butterfly punches. Added pearls to the one Butterfly near sentiment.

Supplies List

embossing: Cuttlebug With Love emb border
ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
paper: cardstock -  black, white, yellow

pearls: Recollections
stamp: K Andrew Designs Winged Things sentiment
Stampin' Up: punch - Elegant Butterfly, stamp - SwallowTail

  1. Hi & let me apologize for being late to comment. It was a real joy to see how you used this big beautiful SU butterfly. I have it, and it IS very hard to stamp out. I love how you have used it in this challenge...very creative & gorgeous too. Love the colors also. The sepia tones are just perfect with the image. Well done! TFS & playing along with FFC this week. Hugs
