  4. Hi Melissa (that is my DD's middle name and what I intended to call her. She looked more like the first name so we call her by that!). Yes, it was the long, high Skyway ...I can never remember the name of it. The one that the barge took out years ago. I hate to go across it. I don't like any high bridge...but this one especially. Today started cool, but warmed up. We went to Lakeland to a S/store that several bloggers & a couple of friends who winter in Fla. had suggested I visit. It had a lot of N/wood stamps, which I love, but the atmosphere was not as friendly as Sparkle n Sprinkle. We were greeted upon entering, but no one offered to show us anything, ask if we were looking for specific products and definitely no offer to 'show us what this would do' as at SnSprinkle earlier in the week. The person was not the owner according to hubby; also not a lot of shoppers - most looked to be local folks and definitely didn't have a basket filled as did we (not that this should make a difference of course!). But the atmosphere was just not such to make want to go back. No sales, no discounts, no coupons from other stores either. OK, but doesn't make me want to revisit, except for the well-stocked aspect. I'm debating on what to say on my blog about this place. We're from the Fla East coast, 42+ yrs, but relocated to Upstate SC when retired.

  7. Hi Melissa love the image and embossing but not sure if the knot of ribbon qualifies as a bow for our challenge at Lej designs

  8. Thank you for entering the LEJ Designs Buttons, Bows or Beads Challenge.

Unfortunately, your make doesn't fit into our theme as the ribbon is knotted and not a bow. It's a lovely tag though and the nutcracker stamp is lovely.

Hope you will join in with our future weekly challenges though.

    Hugs
