School Days Door Hanger

Created this School theme Door Hanger using ombre technique w/ Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Snoopy School Bus stamp, paper piecing technique of Snoopy Bus, Crayola pencil colors to color the School Bus, School Days stamp, Stampin' Up markers to color the School Days stamp and School ribbon.

Stamped the School Bus twice. First stamped on yellow cardstock. Second stamped the top part of School Bus on white cardstock. Cut the top part of school bus from white cardstock to attach over the stamped on yellow cardstock. Used Crayola pencil colors to color the School Bus. Even used yellow pencil color because I wanted a different yellow than the color of the cardstock.

Used Tim Holtz Distress Inks for background: squeezed lemonade (to represent the sun), salty ocean (for sky), mowed lawn (for grass) & pumice stone (for road).

Used Stampin' Up markers for sentiment tag: Chocolate Chip (brown for apple stem), Daffodil ( for star & outline of tag), Gumball Green (for leaf on apple) and Real Red (for apple). Attached the tag to the card base with a red brad.
