Christmas Cardinals Card

Made this Christmas Card using Mark's Finest Papers Christmas Cardinals stamps. Used a sketch which you can see below. Rotated the sketch 90 degrees clockwise.

I paper pieced the Cardinal. First stamped in green ink for the pine needles. Second stamped in brown ink for the pine cones. Finally stamped in red ink for the Cardinal. Attached the pieces one on top of the other. Used a Spellbinder to cut out the image for the right side of the card. Used yellow glitter & Crayola pencil color black on the Cardinal. Inked the edges with Tim Holtz Distress Ink brushed corduroy to complement the gold color in the designer paper.
