Used Close to my Heart Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge. Welded 2 squares (pg 23) together with my Gypsy to make a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" card. Placed the 2 1/2" decorative layer (pg 23) for window cut out inside the area for front of card. Cut 3 1/2" tree for inside the card to be viewed thru the window.
Added felt hand cut: white felt to outside below the window sill for snow look & red for tree skirt. I tried to use a Fiskars scallop punch to make the tree skirt & ended up breaking the punch and do not know if it is made anymore and if I can get a free replacement or have to buy one if available. The one handle broke completely off. I know that the punches will not cut thru thick material but figured felt was not thick. Added Crystal Stickles to white felt.
Cut a banner with Spellbinders and stamped sentiment 'Merry Christmas' to put on outside of card above the window.
Decorated the tree with a star & gems. Added Lime Green Stickles to edge of tree.
