Today, Wed 7/18, it is time for me hosting the Mark's Finest Papers (MFP) Simple Salutations Challenge #3 Tree.
Created this card using Kraft cardstock as the Base. On the right is the 4 3/4" x 4" Paper Pizazz Wild Things Elephant scrapbook paper with elephants at bottom. On the left is the 5/8" x 4" partially overlapping gray strip of Paper Pizazz Wild Things Elephant scrapbook paper that is embossed with Cuttlebug African Batik embossing folder. Tree is stamped on white cardstock using Memento Cottage Ivy ink for leaves & Memento Rich Cocoa for the tree trunk. Tree is cut out & foam adhesives are used to pop the tree for 3D look. Next time I'll use green ink on edge to hide the white edging. The Sun is cut using Life is a Beach Cricut cartridge at 1" using 2 shades of yellow cardstock. Stamped the salutation 'Live' on the Sun.
