BJ Windswept Sexy Beach Easel Card

Created this Sexy Beach Easel card using a digi, BJ Windswept, that I had won from Stitchy Bear in April and first time using it.

The Easel Card Base is made using florescent orange cardstock. Printed the digi twice. Printed on tan cardstock & on florescent orange. Cut/paper pieced the swimsuit & the girl. Colored the girl's hair with a gold metallic marker & Crayola colored pencils. Colored the girl's eyes, lips & nail polish with Sakura markers & Crayola colored pencils. Used florescent green cardstock, Colorbok Waves scrapbook paper & the Paper Studio Red Hibiscus scrapbook paper.
Stamped 'aloha' sentiment on Spellbinder Shapeabilities Nested Lacey Pennants. Used memory box Hibiscus die cut.
Used Tim Holtz Distress Ink spiced marmalade on Hibiscus center to give it a more realistic look. Added button & ribbon.

Photographed near one of my Yellow Hibiscus in backyard.

  18. Awesome card! Love the colour scheme you chose to work with and the cut out Hibiscus bloom fits into the scene wonderfully. Great job on the image. This card makes me think of Hawaii. Photographing your card with the Hibiscus plant in the background was very clever too. Thanks for joining us at OSAAT.
